What is dark web ? How to access it ? And why not ?

Internet ,the most amazing invention in the history of mankind.It has become as easy as a click away to get whatever you want delivered to your doorstep .Everything is available online ,a tutorial to do something,meaning to any particular word, science information, and what not . Something you see somewhere or something you need to know ? You can get the whole data about it by just searching it on the net .But everything is monitered by the search engine by experts for effective browsing and a safe surfing.Since ,everything is available on the net and even kids nowadays have access to the internet,it becomes more important to provide beneficial and safe content to everyone .But every good things comes with a bad side too .

As of now ,you might have heard something about the term known as "The dark web" .Is it as dangerous as it sounds ?Let us find out .

The internet is divided into three stages namely

• The surface web
• The deep web 
• The dark web

All that is readily available for an average user is the surface web .The normal browser or the search engine allows all the sites to be accessed that is visible. The data of the user is stored and the activities are monitered by the search engine in the form of cookies.

The deep web contains sites along with the hidden sites and contents that is not available for a user surfing in the surface web.It includes actions that is concluded to be illegal  .

The dark web is a part of the deep web which gives access to all the hidden and illegal sites on the surface web .It contains horrifying contents and a big market place to buy illegal products .Unlike the surface web ,dark web holds complete anonymity of the user and buyer .But what makes it to be a place of horrific content? What kind of products are available? If it is a place to buy illegal products,what makes it so dangerous?

So ,what really is a dark web ? How to access it ?If done what would be the impact ? 

The dark web ,a place where anyone can buy anything with a complete anonymity .yes,anything !! Drugs,tools,guns,explosives you name it .If you normally want to purchase something  you can go on any of the e-commerce websites that is popping up on your screen when you hit on the "search " button for the particular item that you have typed .In that case,you cannot go to Amazon or any other shopping websites to purchase a gun right ? That would be insane .Such products that are highly illegal to buy or to be performed can be done on dark web with anonymity of the consumer or the buyer and the supplier  or the retailer. Here,there is no organized supply chain infact ,the consumers are the retailers at times.Anyone can offer anything with a click away .There is no limits or regulations to buy or sell in this place .When I say "anything" ,it literally means ANYTHING!!.Pirated music, movies ,fake ID's,drugs,guns,explosives,people etc .yes,people!!

Human trafficking is a fundamental issue all over the world across many countries which forms the major cause or core for the human kidnapping .According to the records ,an estimate of 8 million children go missing every year worldwide.Among which 800,000 are from United States,230,000 from United Kingdom,100,000 from Germany,45,000 from Mexico ,40,000 from Brazil,50,500 from Canada,39,000 from France and millions around the globe .Reportedly an estimate of around 80,000 people go missing in India alone with 70% being women and girls . The majority of these missing cases worldwide  still remain unclosed .

Now ,how are these contributing to the topic that we are about to discuss in this article?Yes ,it does contribute a lot .

The majority of all these cases reported to be missing are a part of the black market in flesh trade. What is flesh trade ? The illegal supply of abducted children ,women and the organs  is termed as "flesh trade".These children are bought by various rich people or illegal underground organisations and let them work as labourers and girls are forced to end up in prostitution.The medium through which these are being traded is the 'black market ' .The online access to this black market is via dark web .All the services and products available in this dark web are subjected to be weird and bizzare .

The most disheartening fact is that anyone around the globe can access dark web using just an internet connection in any device .Which means that there is a high possibilities of such weird stuff falling in the wrong hands .The most weird things that this market offers are illegal drugs ,guns,explosives ,child porn, distressing tutorials (like "how to torture someone to death","how to kill someone " ,"how to cook someone alive " etc)and also offer goons to be hired to kill someone.These are widely available in an organised layout like any other e-commerce website with ratings and price where you have to order just by applying the quantity.All the transactions are done via Bitcoins .(if you want a blog on Bitcoins and how it works ,mention it in the comment section).

Now ,how is the surfing in this web enabled? It is not achieved by the normal search engines or the browsers that are available .Infact,the data of all the activities done by the user is continuously recorded by the browser you use which holds the information of what webpage you have visited ,when you have visited and from where too .But the dark web holds a complete anonymity of the seller and the buyer .Then how do you enter the dark web ? It is achieved via other browsers like 'Tor' with a domain '.onion' ,'Subgraph OS' , 'Whonix' and more .These browsers jumps the VPN to different locations over different countries although the user operates it from one particular location . Hence,making it difficult to locate the user's position.

The melancholy in this is the fact that it is easily accessible to everyone in this generation where almost everyone has smartphones with internets.

Inspite of many incidents reporting disasters occured in many people's lives ,there are still a large number of population surfing the dark net or try if for the first time in curiousity and end up in anxiety,mental distress , depression costing  their lives and many have lost their lives due to the suicidal contents available here .The well-known among them is the 'The Blue Whale '.
