1 . PADMANABHASWAMY TEMPLE,KERALA

The padmanabhaswamy temple in Kerala with the diety Vishnu ,is a well known temple where treasures worth billions have been discovered.The treasures in the vaults included gold,diamonds,gold thrones,onaments and various other objects were discovered .Due to the hearing of a private petition seeking the transparency in running the temple ,the Temple's centuries old vaults were unvieled.Five out if six vaults were unclosedon June 27 of 2011  from which treasures worth billions were brought to light .The sixth vault is still remains closed which is claimed to contain wealth higher than that was discovered in other vaults collectively.

2.KING KOTHI PALACE ,HYDERABAD

Kamal Khan (the Nizam of Hyderabad)sold the palace once he expressed his desire for the plalace .The Nawab who was only 13 that time took over the throne in 1911 .He named the palace 'KING KOTHI' to deduct the KK abbreviations which meant KAMAL KHAN. Hence the palace was named 'King Kothi' ( King's residence ) .There exists a secret underground chamber in the Home science college near the Secretariat ( one of the divisions of the palace).This bunker-like chamber containing the chest is possibly filled with valuable stones like gold and diamonds.The chamber passage was used by the Nizams those days as a runway those days or a secret godown to preserve the wealth during invasions .The archeology Department has requested the GHMS (Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation)to dewater the passage leading to the chest twice .But thanks to them for not giving a valid response since it makes to evacuate the place completely.This makes the treasure lie in the secret passage untouched .

3.KOLLUR MOOKAMBIKA TEMPLE, KARNATAKA

Kollur Mookambike temple situated in kollur ,Udupi district of Karnataka.The temple located in the foothills of Kudajari hills is a famous world heritage .The temple residing "Mookambike Devi" is a devotional site and attracts  a large amount of visitors everyday and the rituals happening in the temple  are highly worshipped .The diety was installed by Adi Shankara who was a worshipper of Saraswati Devi .The temple is built around 800  AD .It is believed that the  appearance of serpants is a clear sign of the treasure buried beneath the temple.The serpants guard the treasure from outsiders .Barring the treasure the jewels of the temple is itself worth a 100 crore .The mask of the Devi is completely made of gold and was gifted by The Vijayanagara Empire

4.NADIR SHAH'S TREASURE

Nadir shah ,one of the greatest rulers of Persia and the founder of Afshar Dynasty .In 1740 ,Nadir shah swept through Afganistan into India.After sacking the capital by defeating the Mughal Empire (Muhammad Shah) in the battle of Karnal and he looted the empire and took a large amount of wealth including 132 magnificent pieces of the Mughal .It included the world Famous 'Koh-i-noor' diamond .A large wealth was looted that it is believed that his loot caravan was 150 mile long .On the way back to Iran  ,he was assassinated by his own guard officers  in 1747. 
Nadir Shah ,the young soldier who was the reason of Nadir shah's death was to become the first king of Afganistan but later succumbed an agonizing death due to cancer of face .This is believed to be the result of the curse of 'Koh-i-noor' .The movie ' The search for the lost Treasure of Afganistan'  is a documentary film where Tahir shah went on a quest to find the treasure.The Treasure is still believed to be hidden in the caves near the Hindu Kush mountains.

5.SONBANDHAR CAVES 

it is believed that the ancient caves of Son Bhandar, which means 'store of gold', is home to a hidden gold treasure. Legend has it that there is a crazy amount of gold hidden inside the walls of the caves. It is said that there is a passage inside the cave  leading to the treasure, but no one could find it ever.
