TikTok ban in India ?!

TikTok being the #1 entertaining app in the app store is a world wide famous app having a 500 million active users globally making it one of the most downloaded app in the recent history .
The app initially named as 'Douyin' meaning "vibrating sound" was found in China in 2016 and was introduced to the world market after a year .The app is a video creating platform where anyone can create a video of lipsyncing the sounds available in the app or create an original content of 15 - 60 seconds .

The app is also used for promoting various albums or information regarding  numerous subjects .As there is a boon and a bane in everything that occurs ,there is a number of allegations that the app is causing issues against the culture and intergrity if the Nation and practices which implants various unhealthy thoughts to the viewers . Recently there is a list of many videos that went viral in the platform that not only made the users popular but also but hatred for a few .Having this being noticed the petition has been submitted to the High Court against the app that is available in 75 languages and has an estimate of 100 million downloads and 40-50 million active users in India alone .

Recently ,a senior lawyer brought up a petition with the public interest in calling a ban of the chinese-based TikTok app mentioning its inappropriate content that is easily accessible to people of various age groups.On 4 of March 2019 ,the High court of Tamil Nadu , on looking into the matter seriously asked the Centre to ban the app as it "encourages pornography" .
